clockYou may have heard that Daylight Saving Time was designed for farmers to have more time to deal with their crops.

That is incorrect: Daylight Saving Time was designed to help people attend the Nieman Lab happy hour.

With a week’s adjustment now behind them, and early evening daylight restored, Bostonians’ bodies are perfectly primed for a gathering of journalists, technologists, business-side types, and anyone else interested in the future of news.

Therefore, you should come have a drink with us on Monday, March 18 at 6 p.m. or so. We’re doing it again at The Field, which is in Central Square, roughly 8.2 seconds’ walk from the Central Square T stop and thus easily accessible to anyone with a Charlie Card.
