In 2020, the company launched news cooperatives in Fresno, California; Yakima, Washington; El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico; and Jackson, Mississippi. Now, they’re adding Northwest Wisconsin and have announced funding for five journalists (for one year) through Report for America. —
