In Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa, where Postmedia owns two newspapers, editorial staff will be joined to work under one senior editor. But none of the titles will close, and the company will continue publishing two papers. Postmedia is also creating a national sportswriting team to be led by a single editor. —SW
