As The New York Times reported today, the site often held up as a comparative digital success story is bleeding money: “Quartz lost more than $24 million on $18 million in revenue through the first six months of this year.” (If you’ll allow us a moment of pride, Zach was the very first reporter Nieman Lab ever hired, back in 2008.) —JB
