Connected China is an experiment in breaking out of the incremental story — trying to create a summative, regularly updated visualization of who leads China.
At Georgia Tech’s Computation + Journalism Symposium, representatives from both fields explored what the vibrant news information environment might look like.
Some projects, like DocumentCloud and Ushahidi, were widely adopted in the media. Others stumbled due to technical problems or resistance from partners.
